West Berkshire Action for Refugees (WBAR) is a registered charity supporting refugees and asylum seekers.
Through practical assistance, compassion and community integration we assist refugees, both new arrivals and settled families, to navigate the challenges of resettlement in West Berkshire.

Services and Support
- Weekly Drop-In Sessions: providing information, advice, and guidance
- Practical Support: Assistance with housing, health, education, employment, and navigating life in the UK, including informal English classes
- 1-to-1 Befriending and Guidance: Personalized support by appointment to help refugees navigate life in the UK and to access local services .
- Donations and Essentials: Current collections for toiletries, clothing, and other essential items for clients are advertised on the Facebook page.
